The gauntlet has been thrown down. My bud has started her neglected blog back up, and now I must do the same. Of course, I don't have amazing home improvement projects to write about like the Foofy, but I'll do my best. :)
One of the reasons I have not been keeping up this blog is because I have been doing a blog for work and that seems to be siphoning all the creativity out of me. Either that or I'm just lazy ... take your pick.
So, if I haven't been blogging, what have I been doing? Besides working (of course), I have been worshiping Queen Zenyatta whenever possible, helping out at The Second Race foster facility, trying to keep up with the deluge of magazines that seems to pour out of my mailbox every month, and being slowly talked into resuming my aborted college education. Yes, I have taken the first (baby) step and applied for admission to Citrus College. If I can get a class during the winter session, I can begin "getting schooled" in January.
My goal is an AA in Liberal Arts which could (possibly) lead to a transfer to a four-year school for a BA in something (probably English or Communications or some other non-mathy subject). If I get really crazy, I might go for a Masters in Library and Information Science (MLIS) but who knows. For now, I just want to get registered for one class and see how that goes. Since I work full-time, I'll have to do mostly online classes; all this messing about on the Internet might actually have some use after all!

Yay! You're back! Gettin' schooled, huh? Go for it girl! Just as long as you enjoy it, that is first and foremost. And thanks for mentioning Foofy...he/she/it is deeply grateful for the shout-out. :)
